Badrinath Dham
Badrinath is a town located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated in the Garhwal Himalayas, nestled between the Nar and Narayana mountain ranges. Badrinath is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus, particularly for Vaishnavites.
The town is famous for the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, particularly in his form as Badrinath. The temple is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and is considered one of the holiest Hindu temples. It is believed to have been established by the eighth-century philosopher and saint Adi Shankaracharya.
